Divide it by two; the better choice?

Tis the season for ratings war to begin for the new year, and it is also the time to choose between Channel Nine and SBS.

You see, both channels will be broadcasting the Tour Down Under, and while no Grand Race, it will feature the debut of the Australian Cycling team GreenEdge and that is worth viewing for at least a day or so if you can’t pull away from the Australian Open coverage of channel 7.

From what I understand the highlights package made by either channel will be shown at varied hours (SBS at 8:30 and Nine’s at 10:30) with the two hour delay in consideration, I’d say that after a long day at work or study or just chores in general that SBS’s highlights are the more economical of the two in terms of timing.

Based on the highlights timing SBS will be my choice for the tour down under, but what about you?
