With a down to earth attitude, a winning streak hotter than a smiling Thor Hushovd, our Aussie lass has been officially been awarded the honour of being the World Athlete of the year.
Oh, and did I mention, this is the first time an Aussie has won this?
Yep. Australia is, in Charlie Sheen’s words, “Winning!”
The awards were held in Monaco and Pearson looked stunning in a black dress and a smoky eye makeup.
She sure as hell deserved it too!
After setting the fastest time 11 times this year and having a winning streak lasting 15 100m hurdle race meets, for her not to have won would be an injustice.
Congratulations Sally... let’s hope you can take the gold home next year!
