Frozen Yoghurt: the Sundae Substance

The loyal ice cream sundae, layered decadently with biscuits, nuts, sprinkles and drooled in topping has taken a new twist, and a fruity one at that.

It was tonight that instead of the plain old vanilla banana split that came to me, I opted for frozen yoghurt instead of the vanilla ice cream.

With that, I layered banana; fruit and topping, sprinkles and canned whipped cream.

The result was far more delicious than I could ever have hoped for.

Instead of feeling sick after eating the dessert, the cream did not argue with the ice cream, instead complementing, and the banana and that frozen yoghurt were light enough to fill my belly without causing it to ache.

So after my experience tonight, I vote one to Frozen Yoghurt as a sundae substance.
