After Ashlee Simpson’s lip syncing incident, lip syncing has
become accepted but just as notorious so when you hear singers actually singing
(gasp!) live it turns out their admirable act is perhaps not the best medicine
for my ears.
Act after act, my ear drums split at the sound and eyes
harmed at the odd outfits, it comes as a refreshment to have Kelly Clarkson.
Winning the first series of iconic American Idol, Clarkson
has gone from strength to strength despite some albums getting lesser reviews
and sales than others.
To measure her success, the fact she is known as herself,
and barely as the chick who won the first American Idol.
But I have gained more appreciation for the American lass
since she featured on the NRL Grand Final pre-game celebrations, it was a great
display. And no such thing as lip syncing was there, her voice seemed authentic
and seemed to enjoy the experience.
And if Australia could not get enough of her, she featured
on the breakfast programme, Sunrise to which she gave another performance of
her addictive new song Mr Know It All.
Again, Ms Clarkson performed to her peak without the
assistance of auto-tune.
So while she has been around for quite some time, her latest
offering of her music is different so it is time to get on this!
