Online shopping- on the other hand

A show of hands to who thinks that online shopping is a miracle, the best thing since pita bread and wedges-the comfortable heel?

I thought so, I am one of you fellow readers and shoppers.

Finding a good bargain on the net, finding a dress or a DVD eluding you in the real world can be as satisfying as shopping in its physical form, plus, there are no friends to piss you off or bitchy shop assistants.

I am a fan of the online emporium, but at the same time the nagging feeling, especially if you buy overseas, all the time, is a nagging one if you do indeed have a social conscience.

Buying overseas means the money you get from a job or the government goes out of this country, thus not benefiting the place that you live in.

I generally shop on the online Aussie stores, though when there is parity with the greenback, it opens up a whole new spectrum... I hear you! It’s so tempting to shop, rather than shop with a social sense.

I could go into detail about all the issues with online shopping, but to which have several benefits, however that could open a can of worms in itself.

Online shopping is yin and yang, it has both a good and bad side to it, making it difficult to shop.

So perhaps, the ceasing of a parity for Online shoppers, is the best thing for Australia, after all, us online shoppers live here, not in a virtual realm like our fave sites.
