Twenty-five years a bloody long time in any way that you see it; from marriage, to staying on the television which is the case for ABC’s Margaret and David who’s claim to fame is well, talking about movies each week.
Regardless it is a simple premise but a lovely one at that.
In an age where you go on YouTube, watch the movie trailer and then might even watch ordinary people or certain channels watching reviews about whether you can deal with the burning sensation of the your wallet lowly becoming thinner and thinner.
What I love about watching these two when I get the time is not the mere hilarity of their banter is the only attraction.
Rather it is the informative review they do, rarely is the appearance of the actors an issue, nor is the trashiness really the subject.
They provide witty humour and open my eyes to more than the latest film.
And that is why Margaret and David have lasted a quarter of a century.
