Losing your marbles, sunglasses and anything else.

Gone are the days when the late teen, early twenty-something female could pack it all in one suitcase, and here come the moments when you lose more things than an amateur stripper on the parade.

For each person, we have a complex where there is just one thing we can never keep a hold of, whether it be false teeth (though I’m not quite sure why you’d have them at this age), marbles (the real, and not the metaphorical kind) but for me, it is all about glasses.

Midas has the touch to turn anything into gold, well then I must be Midas’ poor, uni student counterpart, but instead of turning things to gold, I touch a pair of Ray Bans or Aviators and POOF! They are bound to be lost in the next few days.

It’s a shame though that sunnies can’t come with warranty because then I would be their best customer!

So what do I do to rectify this? How do I not lose anymore pairs?

For starters, wearing a chain or material around the neck to ensure that you really don’t lose your glasses is about as fashionable as wearing parachute pants and looking like you’ve walked off the set of Aladdin.

However I find the best way not to lose them is to keep them in the most obvious places, mind you, let the place be obvious but not a place that you cover with bags, clothes and schoolbooks, otherwise you will be finding yourself in your room, in a panic with no glasses before class.

What are some of the most annoying things that you perpetually misplace?
