Subsidies for Sex

Teenage pregnancy is a problem, yes, but have any of you seen the price of condoms these days? It’s bordering outrageous.

Perhaps people do not buy them for their expense, mind you in saying that women still buy tampons whatever the cost.

Perhaps Gillard and her government if they wish to put a plan into action and prevent teen pregnancy or at the very least advocate against it they could cheapen th price of the ‘rubbers’. Why not?

Teenage pregnancy as well as unexpected ones are upsetting and often cause a great deal of stress, not as much as when browsing the condom section, especially concerning the price.

For the subsidy or cheapening the condoms to work they (the government) should list the brands and thus subsections of each brand name, making them readily available in ALL chemists, supermarkets and general stores.

As well as helping these mums  back to work or education (which is a great idea) why couldn’t the government also assist in the price of these forms of contraception to avoid conception?
