Onwards to Oz! President Obama WILL be coming to Australia, White House confirms!

Obamarama has struck me down, with the confirmation by the Whitehouse that the 44^th President of the United States set to visit the country.

While the itinerary has not fully come out, it has been announced; fittingly that Obama will make an appearance at the President’s Golf Tournament.

He will be in Australia for the 16^th and 17^th of November... Just before University finishes for the Daily Red, fingers crossed he makes an appearance in Canberra.

Obama, the first African American to hold office in the United States, will put a bee in Julia Gillard’s bonnet for after two attempts to visit the nation, have already failed due to both 

the Healthcare debate (first time) and the BP Oil Disaster (Second time).

It brings the old adage of third time lucky back to life.
