Did I miss something?
The ideal of High Heels is upon us, for it makes our legs
look sexier (no doubting that) but the reality is when you take them off,
hurting like hell!
So why do we keep on wearing them?
At the races we tattle around like mannequins, tight
dresses, high heels and corsages for our hair.
At the clubs, skimpy is sexy... following the principle of
the three T’s (thigh, tits and tummy)... never fail to see a vast majority
doing this... if only we were this enthused about politics.
And even at uni, people wear heels... why I ask? All I can think
of how much it canes taking them, the shoes off!
Sure vanity is a key thing to us ladies, but to the point of
pain? I missed the boat on that one, or perhaps I’m still a decade behind, my
clothes sure look that way, but my iPod doesn’t!
And what about the people who run in these heels? Carrie
Bradshaw and Co. Started this one, but I still can’t manage it, and plenty of
others I know can’t either, there is too much multitasking going when running
in stilettos, first, staying upright, second, holding the bag, third,
controlling the boobs department and then thinking about where you’re running
to! Too much for this shoe loving lass!
Heels are undeniably gorgeous, the way that they arch in the
middle, the satin and gemstone decoration and heck, the heel itself is
gorgeous, plus a sexy pair of heels is like vitamin c, c for confidence, making
an outfit go from nice to gorgeous, because sometimes flats just don’t cut it.
I love a cute pair of heels as much as the next oestrogen
filled lady but the jury is still out on wearing them perennially.
So readers, opinions on heels?
