The Low after the High (in Tennis that is!)

You know that moment when you’ve had a great day and it all comes crashing down? Well for Sam Stosur winning the US Open has led to a second round elimination in a minor tournament.

Tut, tut, tut Sammy.

With all the glory and the energy exerted to kick the arse of the one, the only and intimidating Serena Williams in the final of the final Grand Slam of the  year, I suppose it would take it out of you.

All I hope for our Aussie golden girl is that this does not lead to a slump... we have enough of that in Australian tennis itself.

So I shall adopt a Lleyton Hewitt-esque approach and say this “c’mon Sammy!”
