A News sort of Twist

For all the serious journalism there is just as much odd and quirky to match it.

Here’s a roundup of some of this week’s quirkiest news pieces.

1)      - Dolphins beat an Italian Olympic Swimmer. Needless to say, the Dolphins one before toting the swimmer, Filippo Magnini back to the pool’s edge

2)     - A moose has been found in Swedish forest entangled in an apple tree, and to add to the oddness of the situation, it was seemingly intoxicated from eating the fermented apples.

3)     - Even the thieves are getting creative, the latest in 7/11 robberies has seen a thief dressed as the 80’s character Gumby demanding money and threatening with a gun.

4)     -  canisters of bull sperm that “ejaculated” from their box closed down a major Tennessee highway. Such is life.

5)    -  Slightly older news, but still Amoosing; An Austrian Cow was on the run for 98 days after it escaped after it was about to be transported to the abattoir. Yvonne the cow surrendered herself by returning to her paddock, turns out, the grass was not greener on the other side.

So there you have lads and lasses, hope this brightens up your day!
