After being deprived of our favourite musical show and of
the Mr Schuester hair jokes, Glee is back!
While I admit that I am a bit behind the eight ball in
posting about Glee’s third season, doesn’t mean I won’t make up for in a superb
post!
So the third season premiere episode had Finn still having an identity crisis, Rachel,
ambitious as ever, Kurt and Blaine ever in love while it was splitsville for
our favourite street smart and snappy couple Puck and Lauren, otherwise
referred to Pizes.... no!!!!
And how about Coach Sylvester... it looks like he might have
to order herself a more formal tracksuit, fit for a congresswoman!
After announcing to suspend the arts programs in public
schools until students become literate at grade level, thus increasing her
popularity to the masses.
And what about our pretty little lady with the “Belinda
Carlisle glamour” Quinn Fabray?
At the beginning of the episode called “The Purple Piano
Project” she c;aims to have
found herself, through pink hair, a tattoo of Ryan
Seacrest, a nose-ring and a smoking habit.
As Rachel points out in a confrontation with Quinn, she
seems sad and it is good to finally see the ramifications of Quinn giving up
her daughter Beth to Rachel’s biological mum, Shelby (set to return next
episode).
Why do I think this is good?
Well pretty much after Quinn popped out the baby to the tune
of Bohemian Rhapsody, everything went back to normal, thus it shows a new side
of Quinn.
It will be interesting to see how the producers continue
with the storyline and if the return of Shelby is anything to go by then this
will not be ending anytime soon.
What did you think of the Glee premiere?
