After a hard day of opening it, it tasted... funky?

I’m a fan of juice, I love it, whether I slurp it or suck it, juice is my homeboy.

However to stop this trend in its tracks I had to buy the juice that was the hardest to open... I know I might be weak, so give me graces when I admit that it took several (6) hours to open.

Yes, 6 whole hours.

And when I opened it, was all the flavour locked in hard?

Well, the first sip from the straw tasted funky.

And funky in the bad way, not the retro, fun loving 70’s way.

So after all that bloody effort, my 3 bucks 50 is priceless in that my juice is something my cat wouldn’t drink.

The worst part, the juice is not an abstract flavour, its apple and tropical flavour (okay, a little odd) but my point still stands.

So you can imagine, after all my persistence to open the damn bottle, using several knives, a fork and a t-shirt, to not avail, that it tastes like shit?

It’s like that moment when I asked someone out and got rejected.

Officially heartbroken.

Readers, have you had any of these instances, worked so hard and looked forward to something so much that the food or drink turns out to be less than desirable?
