A New Apple for the Masses

Long time CEO of Apple Steve Jobs, has resigned, saying it is effective immediately.

Jobs has asked to continue working at the company in a smaller role; chairman of the board and director of the company (well, not that small).

We, the society who voraciously eat up all his devices as if they were actually apples, should be grateful for his innovation, for after all... many of you would not be having tablets or iPod’s then, would we?

Sure, there would have been others out there, but to be honest an Apple device is more iconic than an Android, it goes to the same heights as Converse, and the Nike tick.
It was, and still is cool to have an apple device, the majority have one, they are at the cutting edge of music and musical devices such as the iPod.

A recent concept of iCloud which is a new form of internet storage, sure that part isn’t exciting but what is the music division. For $25 a year, the customer can access any of the iTunes songs that match their collection and any music that they own but was alternatively acquired will be uploaded to the iCloud account.

Some say this encourages pirating music, but here at the Daily Red I beg to differ, instead of encouraging it tries to fight this so called war in a new way through iCloud, nothing wrong with innovation, right?

And if discussing Apple it would negligent on my part not to mention/commend iTunes. Like the rest of Apple’s products it has changed the face of music singlehandedly but also how music is bought. Its the record store for the 21st century.

In sum, I leave this article in an odd feeling, a feeling, perhaps is a little sad,  that one of our most iconic CEO’s has stepped down. But more than that, it will be odd to have an Apple speech without the Jeans and Turtleneck combo speaking with such passion for the devices that we rely on so earnestly.
