Good Goss!

So if rumours are to be taken with more than a grain of salt then Matt Goss is linked to the GreenEdge cycling team which, day by day are looking more like a strong outfit.

So a little bit about the rider who has just done his first Tour De France?
-          He was the first Australian to win the “big one”, no not Le Tour De France, or Liege Bastogne Liege but the Milan San Remo which is a mammoth one day ride.
-         - Since 2010 he has been at team HTC Highroad, otherwise known as the “Cavendish Crew” to help their man from the Isle of Man claim yet another stage victory but also, the Green ( also called a  maillot Vert) in the biggest race of them all; Le Tour De France.
-         - In 2011 he debuted in the 2011 Tour De France playing a support role for the Manx Missile, whose wish to wear the green in Paris was actualised.
-         - He twitters (or tweets) quite a lot, some are amusing such as Maybe shouldn't have stole a staff sandwich in the car before the race. The gerkin and onion didn't taste so nice after 30k racing.....,” Posted on the 23rd July. While others just given an insight onto racing in Europe etc. You can check it out here: http://twitter.com/#!/mattgoss1986
-         - Goss was raised in raised in Tasmania.

Showing that his form is red hot with 10 victories (including stages and the overalls) so far it seems that if Shayne Bannan and GreenEdge can get this man, well, its another part of the puzzle to make the Green and Edgy that little bit more formidable, especially for their first season.
