Morning shows; sunny side up and why we like it like that

In Australia there is Sunrise and Today, in the states the list reflects the population; meaning that there is a LOT of breakfast news programmes.

The rise in brekkie news isn’t such a bad thing, sure the jokes might be a bit stale or daggy but what would you rather, waking up to solely the news and nothing but the news which admittedly can be, actually, what I mean to say it is depressing or would you rather watch news with a lighter edge, that takes the pinch away from the bitter news we all hear filtered throughout the day, anyway?

World journalism is a bit like the  glass-half empty mentality,  whereas these brekkie shows are the opposite, with a splash of OJ giving a breath of fresh air to new ordinarily bleak.

There is a mix of the novelty, the human interest and the gossip on the streets, it’s a bit like the girls catching up and in the mornings, especially the Mondays, it can turn that wake up frown upside down.

I myself can vouch that I don’t mind a little bit of brekkie shows in the morning before I leave for uni, it tells the news and I don’t deny that but it also goes into other areas and segments that put a positive spin on the morning.

Television news is a bit like an egg, sometimes it can be a bit too runny, it can be messy, or fall apart or, or it can be sunny side up, providing a difference, an individuality that does start the day off in the right way as opposed to being swamped in an omelette of cynicism, after all on that Monday morning, do you really want to be in a funk?

Readers, what do you like about morning shows the best?
