A sexy kind of thong

The Chicken/Egg conundrum swirls around in our consciousness, so too does the quiet evolution of Grecian sandals.

A few years ago (in the time when Kim Kardashian wasn’t known and the Hilton sisters were top dogs in the seat of being famous for being famous) the Grecian sandal interrupted the yearly ritual of stocking up on two dollar pairs of plastic to which we
stuck into the crack... between our toes.

Instead of slipping on the shoe, we literally tied the sandal to our thighs doubling as fashion and an easy improv to the unexpected costume party this Saturday night.

Today, instead of having to weave in front of, and behind our legs, a zip will simply suffice to achieve all the bells and whistles that come with going Greek.

I am a fan of these shoes, instantly turning an outfit from (reasonably) drab to fab!
Let’s not forget that this trend embellishes, and some of the designs coming out now are simply stunning... some of the better webpages to check out when it comes to Grecian sandals/gladiators are the following.

www.shopstyle.com.au (it’s a terrific store for all sorts of shoes actually, plus its layout is the equivalent of a boutique store nestled in the city; gorgeously put together)

www.theiconic.com.au (With a name like this, how could you not expect the shoes to epitomise their name the best? These shoes have all the style of being on the edge of cool and illustrate some glam potential)

www.asos.com/au/ (The celebrated online fashion store that has become a pilgrimage for the 2.0 shopper provides a wide range of shoes and sandals that while dressy will not look out of place in a variety of places)
