Packing Lightly; is there a way?

For a woman, there are plenty of things that superficially strike our hearts with a flutter of fear; one of which includes the moment when our suitcase cannot be zipped together
without fear it shall erupt like a volcano.

We all love to vacation, and to peruse stores purchasing goodies from shop to shop but the consequence is hauling it all back with us.

The problem herein also lies when we depart; there is an expectation that, funnily enough, we’re meant to look our best, our sexiest when o holiday- hang on, wasn’t the reason we took a vacation to feel better.... since when was looking better after a holiday on the flight TO the destination?

Packing lightly is obviously a hard task for everyone but when there are pretty dresses and too sentimental to part with gifts, then it becomes complicated.
Can packing lightly for the modern woman be accomplished?

Yes.

Sure, there might be some culling of the clothes and yes, it might be painful but in the long run, luggage is not always a walk through the daisies.

Compromise is essential and works in your favour when you’re able to know where, and how far a Laundromat are from where you are staying.

Apparently, rolling your clothes (not doing wonders for their self preservation, though) enables you to fit more in, which can be the aim, right?

What are your best packing tips?
