Being the frontrunner of the American Presidential Nominee process can be as much a positive as it is exhaustive. As a consequence, it becomes pretty unlikely that the candidate will take a clean sweep of all the key primaries in the nation.
This is the case with Republican favourite Mitt Romney of Massachusetts who in the South Carolina primary vote lost to Newt Gingrich.
Gingrich has the support of recently withdrawn Rick Perry who failed to attain the numbers for the home stretch of the presidential nomination with the actual elections to occur later this year.
It seems that this is a twist to the story of Romney’s bid for nomination will have to endure the increasing momentum of the man known as Newt.
