Seized by the Moment; Terrible or Tantalizing Telly?

Regardless of who we are, having a temper or a hot flush of anger towards something; whether it be a broken stiletto or not doing enough preparation toward an assignment, it is an inevitable emotion.

So when it comes to tennis and especially in those high pressure matches, it is sure that a temper will flare and the racquet will bounce more than a basketball does in the NBA.

Is this acceptable, and to when does this become bratty? Is a different line being drawn when it comes to the tennis tempers of men and women?

Lets disregard gender for a moment; both sexes will become frustrated with missing a shot and on both sides of the sex fence there have been some beauty dummy spits over the years, but who does this worse?

Men and women are equal when you look at the classic tantrums of McEnroe, Williams (the younger) and more locally Hewitt.

While the outbursts give a break to the tension of a match and are more an indication of mindset (for better, for worse) do they provide the audience with good television?
