I’d never thought that I would say this, but I have now gone “off” powdered parmesan.
Once a staple in my university cupboard, thinking that I was a culinary step above the rest by having parmesan instead of tasty or cheddar cheese I didn’t realise how crap it would taste when I converted to the fresh stuff.
Combining the finely grated parmesan atop warm roasted potatoes with a dash of fresh rosemary gets my tastebuds erect and ready to devour.
If the saying that fresh is best really applies... then what will happen when I have to go back to a uni budget?
