Getting a licence is only the beginning, and while I build up to the moment where my odd photo on the piece of plastic will appear, I have been browsing the car market online.
I am not the mad car enthusiast, nor am I the rev head who squeals with delight when the lift-out in the paper is bumper sized.
But over the past few days, the elusive search for a good first car, and one that is affordable to a uni student budget is somewhat tedious in points, but remarkably inspiring when it incites a buzzed feeling that perhaps this could be the car, or that this a good deal to be had.
I never expect to completely and be undoubtedly in love with a car, but I see this shopping on a similar level to real-estate, the car you buy, well, you need to like it and be comfortable with it, because like a home, you’ll be in and out of it for a while.
