Re-Gifting: Naughty or Nice?

It is often said that re-gifting is a dirty trick in the Christmas book, but I  fail to see the stigma.

What about you?

I mean, if someone gives you a gift that they have used, is half open and just plain derelict then that is where I would draw the line when it comes to re-gifting.

I would also like to mention, with a word of caution not to re-gift your presents to the person that bought them for you, it would be incredibly awkward that even fake smiles and warm salutations could not even get you through the feelings of guilt.

So, I say with a word of caution that re-gifting that it is all fine and dandy to do it but it does come with a few (santa) clauses.
