As much as I love to support Australian cinema, sometimes when it tries too hard, it merely pushes me away from buying a bucket of popcorn and a movie ticket.
However, there is Australian film that I actually enjoyed (like the Easter Bunny, this event only comes once a year).
The film, Griff the Invisible which stars Ryan Kwanten of True Blood notoriety plays Griff, the archetypal socially awkward twenty something who becomes a superhero/vigilante by night.
I won’t give too much of the film away but as it progresses it seems that the film is not the same as the typical Superman or Spiderman saving the day films, instead throwing up complications and issues that leads the film into new territory with an intriguing but heartfelt ending.
