Alcohol and Christmas; the proof is in the plum pudding

With the hot as well as humid weather on its way, causing people around Australia to both mow their lawns and sweat out their dinner, and lunch from the night before.

So combine this with the commercial Mecca that is singlehandedly is bigger than China, and goes by the name of Christmas, it is the festive season of the year that implies, or well, is attached to the notion of drinking.

Generally, people drink in the summer anyway, the heat practically indicates its beer o clock ALL the time and what do we do when we are in the shower or after a day of working outside, and fair enough but I ponder how this culture began?

While in the summer heat it is practically an expectation to drink or consume some sort of alcohol; from lemon lime bitters to something a little more... stronger.

So this combines with Christmas, to which in itself asks for drinking to cool and hydrate ourselves, the two ideas combine making it seem like a normalcy to drink on Christmas.

Not that it is all bad, it can be an enjoyable thing, if it is responsible and no one gets drunk, so the proof is in the plum pudding, this Christmas, there will be a drink near you.
