The ins and outs of the drive thru dorm

University is a place much about its academic stimuli as it is for its social equivalents (and yes, I mean sex and booze... charming isn’t it?).

The dynamics of the dorm is like a social experiment, like the reality series Big Brother, except weekly tasks such as cleaning are neglected and there are no ramifications for that.

It’s funny, I live in a dorm with 11 other people and it feels like a zoo, especially when they are drunk or doing the nasty.

And another thing, it is also like a school camp, each with our own cabins it is odd entering another room, there is a completely different vibe. I suppose that the saying that home is where our heart is applies, or at the very least, a little bit of that heart.

It really is like the title, a drive thru... of skanks, and of  just random people in general. If I had a dollar for every time that I saw a new person, whether conscious or not that I did not recognise, well, there would be no HECS debt whatsoever.

Readers, if you live in a dorm, tell me of your experiences, I’d love to know!
