A blooming change

Traditionally speaking, puppies and kittens are impossibly cute and cannot be improved upon, and the same, well sort of, applies to cooking.

But somehow, someway the presentation of food is the gift that keeps on giving, a bit like the Magic Pudding story.

Browsing the internet I discovered the site http://www.gourmandise.com.au/, filled with an array of goodies enough to satiate anyone’s hankering for the French culture through beautifully presented jams and sweets.

But what tops the Gateau here ladies and gentlemen is the site’s variety of Tea Blossoms.

Yes, you heard right, flowers in your cuppa.

Not precisely the aussie thing, is it?

These ornate blossoms turn into the flowers after being activated by the heat of the hot water and sugar if desired.

Each blossom has a distinct flavour, ranging from green, to black and to jasmine.
They’re not cheap, but they look totally worth it when sitting down with a good chick flick.
