Being Vegetarian

3 weeks in.

Being vegetarian has become almost the cool thing to do in Uni, a throwback to the days where protesting was the new black.

But today having a diet without meat is that very new black.

However, the blog post is not about the status quo of the diet but rather the health benefits to be seen.

In the past few weeks my motivation levels have increased and the sluggishness lowered, in the past few weeks I have also seen my skin glow.

My akin now does not seem as inconsistent and patchy instead it looks “healthy” which, I know is an ambiguous term, but nonetheless the best term to describe it.

There is more energy and I feel better within myself, not like I am unmotivated as sick in the stomach after having a meat laden meal.

So, as it turns out, the effect of being veggo is not merely saving a few animals, but also helping ourselves.
