This is not a tale whereby I embark and probably, would not return, no, but it is a blog post about finding a new place to seek out.
While this is neither news, nor food court or cycling related, it is related to the Daily Red in that these blogs take twists and turns, so think of this as one of them.
Today, after a day filled with classes and University Oktoberfest celebrations (a legitimate way of getting drunk from 9-5 and past that) a simple walk around the lake let me appreciate nature.
So it wasn’t Paris or the sultry mood of Barcelona, but walking over the bridge, surround by trees and at the lake’s edge, with a lookout made of different toned rocks, it’s good enough for me!
I’ve walked past that area before, but never took the time to go over the bridge.
Sitting on the bench, and then at the lookout, I believe I might have found myself a new hideout!
It ticks all the boxes, beauty, serenity and, did I say beautiful?
Turns out, you can walk past something so many times, but then only realise you might have a look at it.
And that ladies and gents is the fun of a city.
