Twitter and Twitter 2.0?

Twitter is the social network with the power to mobilise, and to be the root of revolution.

But Twitter is more than that, providing an invisible crowd to your internet activity, or watching a TV programme or a sport event.

Twitter allows the circles of celebrity, sportsman and the regular Joe or Johanna to blend into a Venn diagram, a mashing together of different walks of life providing an entirely new experience to the internet.

However it got me thinking, since we already can peer into the lives of the hottest celebrity or individual, famous for being for famous, when will the written word and images become old?

Eventually, and surely, the written word of what celebrities and what fellow supporters think will become stale, not enough for the experience to be enthralling so this is where the human voice becomes the norm.

My theory is that the tweets will be replaced with voice recordings, and quick video blogs detailing what someone has been doing, or their support for someone, or something.

What changes do you think will be made to Twitter in the coming months?
