What a birthday present for now 26 year old Casey Stoner.
Today he won the Moto GP race at Phillip Island in his home country of Australia, but he also took home a second world championship.
In the qualifying round of the GP, Stoner set the track alight, imprinting his impressive dominance over the track he has come to know, and win.
In pole position for his birthday, he ruled the other riders, and even with a minor hiccup in the climatic final few laps, still went on to win.
What a day in Sport!
Though, in terms of Rugby the same cannot be said for the lacklustre Wallabies that lost a little bounce as they were defeated by the All Blacks.
