A bigger and even better Jayco Herald Sun Tour? I think so!

As with everything, there is a constant movement and a chance to grow.

Cycling has been on the rise in Australia even before Cadel Evans won the greatest race of them all, though it has been a rather helpful boost.

So when I was watching the route of the Jayco Herald Sun Tour over the past five days, a few things struck me.

Why keep the stage race at five days, why not increase it?

This leads into my next point.

Sure, the route changes every year but regardless of this, the tour of Victoria as it were seemed to have a tone more metropolitan than diverse.

So why not increase the length and make it an annual thing that diverse parts of Victoria, some with skyscrapers, others without, to be visited?

Where is the harm in that?
