When it comes to being a famous or notable person there comes a time in every one of those people’s live where they learn to drive, get married and then write an autobiography.
Robbie McEwen is one of them, not the first nor the last either.
His book “One Way Road” will be released soon to stores and sure, it might not reach the same level as “It’s Not About The Bike” by one Lance Armstrong, it surely has to, it has to be an interesting read considering the record of McEwen’s career, including three green jersey’s at the Tour De France as well as famed feuds with racing’s biggest bobble heads (icons).
Signed on with GreenEdge for the next few years, McEwen will ride, then provide tactical support for the fledgling outfit hoping for a stage win here and there rather than an overall win (for the first few years).
Which brings me to my next news, Kiwi Julian Dean, who currently rides for Garmin Cervelo as a lead-out man for sprinter Tyler Farrar, has announced he has signed with the Aussie team.
He’s as good as Australian now!
