In time for the carnivale?
The 2016 Olympics are heading to Rio de Janeiro, a city of life, bright colours and even brighter birds.
But what made me want to write this article?
The motto of course; “Viva Sua Paixão” translating to the phrase; Live Your Passion, something that the Daily Red finds at the moment a very interesting concept.
For once the motto can relate to all, and not the few, and isn’t that what the Olympics is all about in some way?
For the athletes, the Olympics is everything they dream of and more, and this is their passion to bake a cake, you need eggs, to win gold, you need passion.
For the spectators, this is something they ardently and love watching.
To live a passion is to have a life, and as the Olympics begin to emulate such an attitude it seems that the games might be more for the world than on previous attempts.
