The Battle of the Bizarre

There is a difference between being badly dressed and attention seeking.
Lady Gaga seeks and wins attention through her clothing, bizarre choices that seem oddly amusing but do not push to the point of grossing the audience out.

There are celebrities out there who wear adequate clothing (such as an actual dress) but get it wrong in colours, shape and shoes, so in that sense it’s more a mistake.

But then come the plain bad, the Bjork Swan dress that is much parodied as well as the latest addition to the little frock of horrors show; Nicki Minaj goes into the honour roll with a real shocker.

Parading it with all her pride on the white carpet, her hair looks like a layer upon layer of brightly decorated macaroons, except I wouldn’t eat her hair. The dress was really something on its own and to illustrate how “bad” it was, even Lady Gaga couldn’t pull it off. Ever.

You see, I’m sure these women have more sense than wearing that outfit; surely they would not wear something that shocking, of course not. Pages in the paper and thus, promotion speak louder than fashion sense and natural beauty these days.

And why not?

If wearing an outlandish outfit gets you attention then so be it, I can think of worse ways to cry attention to yourself.
