As the reigning tour champion Cadel Evans makes his way from
Australia to where he was enthusiastically met by thousands of fans in a parade
through Melbourne, now onward to Colorado where he will be reunited with the
rest of his podium; the brothers Frank and Andy Schleck.
It’s a shame that I don’t see that the tour will be covered
by our channels in Australia so I suppose I will rely on the brilliance of the
cycling central site to evade a sort of cycling deprivation.
Nonetheless I will endeavour!
So how does everyone think Cadel will go? Will he leave the
scenic American State of Colorado as a victor of gift the tour to one of the Schleck’s?
With some of the highest peaks in the state being included I
can’t wait to see highlight packages streaming through while eating my weeties before
uni.
But furthermore let’s hope that le Tour de France podium (in
the same order of course) repeat’s here in Colorado.
After all it is a massive coup to have the top three of the
world’s biggest bike race in the same, at the same time, so let’s again hop
they put on a bit of a show, these spaghetti armed riders in an array of team
colours.
