Gossip Gleeks

Glee is show that seems to be the only show without haters.

It’s hard not to like it, or to criticise it for after all it is diverse, different and fresh, by the end of the show it will surely have the toes tapping and songs stuck in one’s head. I know it did for this blogger.

Since season 2 ended and left the Gleeks out in the cold of their favourite show (sure, there was a movie, but not the actual storylines we’ve come to know and to love). Scouring the websites until September for gossip, for any hint of glee glittering the gossip pages.

So Gleeks rejoice, for here is some tidbits that might, just might quench the thirst for Glee.

First up is confirmation that Chord Overstreet who plays Sam will NOT be returning to Glee for season 3. No worries, I gasped as much as you are probably doing now. Apparently he was offered to do ten or so episodes but did not agree to these terms. For the Glee Fans as well as the Daily Red pisses me off, what about the developing storyline between he and Mercedes? Are they going to just sweep that one under the carpet? And let’s be honest, Mercedes deserves a little bit of the love factor this season, something that hasn’t evaded the rest of the cast; gay or straight.

And then there is the factor of Charice, the pint sized beauty standing at 4’11’’ (150cm) who has a stunningly big voice (especially prominent in her final song “As Long as you’re there). Signed on for a five episode stint, she had a big debut but faded out substantially throughout the season. According to sources it was due to the envy and feeling of threat by one Ms Lea Michele  who plays the ambitious Rachel Berry on the show.
