If there is one fallacy about the existence of homesickness, then it all lies in the perception of what it is and how it affects the individual.
While the common perception is that we miss the actual place, it is more than that, it is the family members whether they be human or in pet form.
It is the idea that we miss the home and not the items within it is absurd, but then again the principle o being homesick comes not from the materialistic but from the meaning laden.
