Dynamic Duos

Sick of the hearts, and woefully long battery life of those singing cards decrying their affection for you, despite it being a year- and a break up after?

No fear Red readers, while Cupid will be assailing down to earth and shooting aphrodisiacs down the throats of the loved up, I thought it was time that V day came both in P’s and Q’s... that is to say,  Pleasantly in Love, and the Quirky.

While our attention is focused on the difference between long and short stemmed roses, all the while gaping at the industry size, there is an underground of this day, and the forgotten duos should also be celebrated.

So here is a list of the dynamic duo’s you might want to clink a glass with this V day.

-         Salt and Pepper (and not the band, though if you’re a fan...)

-         Spinach and Feta (eating like popeye; with tastebuds intact)

-         Vegemite and Toast (for the patriot-shippers out there!)

-         Canberra and...oh you know what I am referring to! (Making and breaking couples, and making people less lonely this February... one scene at a time)

While there are plenty of others out there, and the list could on, it’s time to wrap this blog up and go find myself the perfect duo to celebrate... what’s yours?
