With a sweltering mercury and temper flaring like a sunspot, it was time to head out of the house, and onto the coast.
It seemed that upon getting there, and slapping copious amounts of surprisingly nice smelling perfume that the sun’s glare had weakened in the face of the sea breeze.
Browsing the shops, and perusing the antiques for the beginning of the day and to wait until the sun cooled off and the risk of morphing into a lobster of sunburn, had subsided.
The swim was refreshing and especially so when the salt water is that taste in your mouth, the water seems somehow fresher, and upon diving in, there is refreshment that having a summer day cannot be beaten.
