In the past days the mercury has risen, and so has the sentiment for the 26th of January;
Australia’s national holiday that signifies the arrival of the first fleet in 1788.
Cruising down the coast has been met with plenty of Australian flags on bikes, houses, stores and on cars.
The media are also jumping on the bandwagon, the news and promotion for local, state and national Australians Of the Year proliferate through the online papers, and on the radio it is advertised to go out and celebrate.
Australia Day is growing larger, and yes, this blog is helping such actions.
