Success is nothing more than a cloak. It is often seen as materialistic thing, with the ruler it is measured by what we do and do not achieve.
I’d like to think that mindset and focus are the measure of success. To have the right frame of mind to go and achieve those aims on the five year plan, well that takes a lot of pushing to follow through with until achievement.
Mindset is about thinking and considering goals until they fall from the shelves of our aspiration supermarket and into our trolley’s. That is to say, we narrow down and determine what we want to achieve now and in the future.
Deciding these goals often allows us to evaluate how to achieve, and how to stick to achieving these aims. We might say that we want something so very much but without the focus, or some emotional affiliation and importance heaped upon that goal, there is fat chance of seeing through that trip to Paris or even, passing the subjects at University that you love to bitch on.
Having the right frame of mind often develops into something more, it is the river that while flowing will experience new scenery and at times, the rain will pour so much so that the scenery changes. I suppose what I am saying is that the mind will work things out to help you succeed, creating disciplines to keep you in the boat without your arms flailing about and trying to grab at the sideshow of attractions.
Mindset is the measure of success, the material goods are the visible representation of that work, think of it as a finished jigsaw puzzle; there is always something pushing behind to make that puzzle successful.
