The Australian based cycling outfit; GreenEdge are off and racing with a promising star to their first year on the circuit of cycling.
At the national Road Cycling Championships held in Ballarat this year it was GreenEdge member Simon Gerrans who will wear the green and gold with pride for the next year.
His win signals the potential successes of the squad perhaps not in the global league this year, but soon, as the team worked so fluidly today.
Plus, it is not a bad start for the team.
Gerrans is the only Australian rider to have won stages in all three of the Grand Tours (Giro D’Italia, Tour De France and the Vuelta Espana).
