As 2012 approaches, it seems that the celebration of ringing in the New Year is as pricey as some of the firework displays across Australian capital cities and regional centres.
Apparently, Sydney residents and tourists will have to now fork out some cash to enter the parks surrounding the area where the famed fireworks will be best be seen.
According to some, it will be around the $20 mark that would have to be given.
For that I could buy some munchies, stay at home, and watch the display, having the best seat in the house without moving an inch.
To me, New Years and going to the best view is a competition, it’s exciting to make sure you have the best seat in the house, and how is that gonna work when we all have to pay?
