With the merry season rolling around it signifies not only the December summer heat, it also signals the end of a year-long contract with university on-campus accommodation.
Cleaning up the room, vacuuming and spraying, scrubbing and disinfecting the room of all that I had experienced in that room.
The conclusion that I had too much stuff in my room was an understatement; it seems that while you bring stuff home, it comes back with a vengeance, for it, the inventory never goes away, a constance.
When it is all cleaned up the room echoes and completely white, I forgot how it looked like this!
It is an ironic twist to beginning and ending the year of uni in the same way; entering and leaving an empty room, but don’t let this imply that I was not happy to have left, it was with a feeling of euphoria and disbelief that the year has already passed me by that I had handed my keys in.
