I don't know how she does it; preparing for an exam

Walking into the exam room, the heads bob and look nervously, some straighten their pencils and pens, but when the test is under way the inevitable glance strikes and you see those speeding away with writing, and you wonder; how does she do it?

So here are some of the best techniques in order to prepare for an exam;

-         -Quiz yourself on the information; everyone loves a quiz!
-         -Eat fruit before the exam
-         -Make plans to ensure that if it goes all the right way, or if it goes awry, make plans!
-         -Structure; try a plan of attack for each of the question; for short answers, make sure the definitions come close to being first in responding, and for essays try to have an overview, intro, the paragraphs you are writing on divided into separate paragraphs of description and analysis for each topic.
-        - Listen to the marker/lecturer when they give you deets or hints of the exam
-       -  Go ten higher than the bare minimum; this means to change your mindset, get it into your head that the higher than average is the expectation.

What hints have you thought of during your periods of exam?
