A Charitable Christmas, Part Two

As I last told in the first of this two part series of charity gifting this Christmas, I explained how it has emerged to be the universal gift that all who receive it will feel both good and like the gift.

So with this second part of the charity blogs, I bring you an instance of this festive good will, The Salvation Army Christmas Toy Run.

Basically, the ride is for motorcyclists in a particular region, they buy a toy and then after riding with it on the bike; they then give it to the Salvation Army at their destination.

It is a fun filled day for the riders, who get a ride while donating to make Christmas better for struggling to cope families.

The 2011 edition in East Gippsland had over 200 motorcyclists and an abundance of toys that drew both local and media interest.

There was an array of gorgeous bikes as well as those who dressed up in the festive wear.
Seeing the charity still alive and growing today is something, it really is.
