The Quick Thinking Billboard

Twitter might be used for communicating with others, stalking a celeb or heck, organising a revolution, but it too has become a waterfall of billboards, one that changes within the hour, and every hour.

Celebrities not only spruik proactiv or their own sex tapes but they promote EVERYTHING from here to Timbuktu.

While I think that this is the way that technology, is and will be heading but have we really blinked an eyelid (emoticon or otherwise) at the fact the celebrities (those famous for being famous) regularly get up to $25K for a single tweet, one that has to be 140 characters or less. Yes, you read that right.

So why aren’t we questioning this practice, after all it is only new and deserves some media attention, why should accept it for the way that it is? After all, what good is having freedom of speech when issues such as this are not covered, and who has the larger rock on their third finger on the left, is?
