Pizza and I


In the past, this Italian dish and I have had our ups and downs going through thin and thick (crusts) but nevertheless endured.

So tonight, after not having Take-Away for a few weeks, I was apprehensive about my return to the indulgent stuff, would I feel sick after biting into it? Or would be so pleasurable?

The end result?

It was fine, opting for the lighter version (read: vegetarian) the queasiness that came with eating meat pizza was not there, absent from the grease, and absent from my bowel movement.

It is intriguing to know, and this will be covered in Vive Le Vegetarian soon that I feel better after eating veggo alternatives of junk food. I know my arteries (those worry warts they are!) thank me profusely, and so does my tastebuds because it does not mean that I cannot eat junk, it just means I have to be a bit more selective, which can only be a good thing.

With a triumphant return to the Italian staple, I place my bets I won’t be having for a little while, because its like running into an old friend... its only good every now and then.
